HELLO TREASURED FRIENDS and WELCOME into this week`s ATM (A Teaching Moment) Weekly in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus, our Lord, was handed over to death because of our failures and was brought back to life so that we could receive God’s approval. [Romans 4:25 God`s Word Translation].
Author and Pastor, Dr. Myles Munroe a man who shook his world and was instrumental in the transformation of so many lives all over the world said, “The greatest enemy of progress is your last success. You could become so proud of what you’ve already accomplished that you stop moving ahead to what you can still accomplish.”
No matter the success that you experienced last month, the Spirit of God is saying that you have not seen anything yet because you are not at your best yet because the path of the [uncompromisingly] just and righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines more and more (brighter and clearer) until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the perfect day [to be prepared]. [Proverbs 4:18 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition].
Now Joshua was old and gone far in years [over 100], and the Lord said to him, you have grown old and are gone far in years, and very much of the land remains to be possessed [Joshua 13:1 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition]. No matter your age or excuse, God wants you to know that your best days are ahead of you and there is no limit to what you can accomplish with God being on your side! The month of February 2024 by divine inspiration is a month of EXODUS INTO BETTER THINGS and by the grace of God, we will be expounding on this focus all through this great month.
Author and Speaker, Rick Rigsby said, “Good enough is not good enough if it can be better. And better is not good enough if it can be best.” My mentor, Dr. John Maxwell said the same thing this way: “If BETTER is POSSIBLE, then GOOD is NOT ENOUGH.” Our main scripture therefore for the month of February 2024 is Micah 2:10, “ARISE and DEPART, for THIS IS NOT YOUR REST; because it is defiled, it shall destroy, yes, with utter destruction. [New King James Version]. It is HIGH TIME to ARISE and DEPART from the status quo of your present accomplishment to gain new ground and become the best version of yourself!
‘If better is possible, good is not enough’ insightful statement reminds us to continually strive for improvement and excellence. It encourages us to go beyond mere adequacy and seek out opportunities for growth and advancement.
