The Holy Scripture reminds us that:
“It is the Lord that advanced Moses and Aaron.” (1 Samuel 12:6 KJV).
“I, the Lord, never change…” (Malachi 3:6, GW).
God advanced Moses and Aaron to fulfill His divine purpose. He hasn’t changed; He is still committed to SUPERNATURAL ADVANCEMENT for His people, raising us to HIGHER GROUNDS to champion His Kingdom and righteous cause.
MAKE GOD’S PRIORITIES YOUR PRIORITY
King David painted a joyful picture of God’s heart toward His people: “Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor My righteous cause; And let them say continually, ‘Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.’” This means God delights in our well-being—spirit, soul, and body—anywhere we live on planet Earth.
Our part is to favor His righteous cause by prioritizing His Kingdom. Remember Jesus’ command in Matthew 6:33: “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
HEAVEN’S PERSPECTIVE ON YOUR NEEDS
The God who meets every need says in Matthew 6:33 (GW), “But first, be concerned about His kingdom and what has His approval. Then all these things will be provided for you.” Yes, you have genuine concerns—finances, health, relationships. But God wants your first concern to be His Kingdom. When you put Him first, He supernaturally aligns and provides for your needs.
A TESTIMONY OF GOD’S PROVISION
A friend recently started an orphanage by faith. On hearing her burden for the orphans, I couldn’t shake off the desire to help. God miraculously provided the funds for me to support her project the following week. All glory to God! When your heart burns for what God cares about, He steps in with divine resources. [see Job 36:11 and Isaiah 1:19].
THE HEARTBEAT OF GOD MUST BECOME OUR HEART CRY: SALVATION FOR ALL MEN!
God’s greatest concern is the salvation of lost souls—family, friends, neighbors, communities, nations, and the world. As 1 Timothy 2:4 (MSG) reminds us: “He wants not only us, but everyone saved…everyone to get to know the truth we’ve learned.” The Lord Jesus paid the full price for our redemption. As His ambassadors, our role is to plead, on Christ’s behalf, for people to be reconciled to God. (2 Corinthians 5:20).
HIGHER GROUNDS DEMANDS OBEDIENCE TO THE KINGDOM ADVANCEMENT AGENDA
HIGHER GROUNDS via SUPERNATURAL ADVANCEMENT isn’t just a feel-good phrase—it’s God’s practical plan for believers who prioritize His interests. Jesus stated in John 15:16 (AMP):
“You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you…so that you would go and bear fruit…so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name…He may give to you.” Bearing fruit that lasts starts with a heart for Kingdom Advancement, not merely personal gain.
YOUR MOVE: STEP INTO SUPERNATURAL ADVANCEMENT
It’s time to recalibrate your goals and align your life with God’s kingdom priorities. Ask Him:
- Where do You want me to serve?
- Who can I reach with Your love?
- What can I do to advance Your purposes on earth this year?
