“The RIGHTEOUS KEEP MOVING FORWARD, and those with clean hands become stronger and stronger.” – Job 17:9 New Living Translation.

“The Lord said to Moses, Why do you cry to Me? Tell the people of Israel to GO FORWARD!” – Exodus 14:15 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition.

ADVANCE [GO FORWARD]—A DIVINE COMMAND, NOT A CATCHPHRASE!

“Advance [Go Forward]” is far more than a motivational slogan; it is a divine directive charged with God’s power. When Mary received the angelic promise of Jesus’ birth, her faith released the miraculous. Elizabeth her cousin filled with the Holy Spirit declared to her, “Blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of the things that were spoken to her from the Lord.” (Luke 1:45 AMPC). Remember: What you don’t believe, you don’t become—and when you believe, God is committed to perform His Word.

FORWARD MARCH [GO FORWARD]: THE ONLY WAY

Like the Israelites pinned between the Red Sea and Pharaoh’s chariots, we may face seemingly impossible barriers. Yet, God’s resounding command remains: “Tell the people of Israel to GO FORWARD!” (Exodus 14:15 AMPC). That same Word challenges us today—when God says “go,” it’s not a suggestion; it’s our roadmap to breakthrough.

WHEN LOGIC FAILS AND FAITH PREVAILS

Moving forward into a literal sea makes no sense to the natural mind. But a faith-filled heart recognizes that “without faith it is impossible to please God” (Hebrews 11:6 NLV). Faith is acting on God’s Word—even when logic runs out. Israel’s forward march wasn’t a heroic stunt; it was simple, rugged obedience to the voice of the Almighty God.

WALKING ON DRY GROUND—BY FAITH

Hebrews 11:29 NLT tells us, “It was by faith that the people of Israel went right through the Red Sea as though they were on dry ground.” They followed God’s command, and the impossible became reality. The Egyptians, attempting to imitate that same step without faith, drowned in the very place Israel conquered. Faith in God makes the difference between triumph and tragedy.

YOUR RED SEA AWAITS—BUT SO DOES YOUR VICTORY

No matter how overwhelming your present “Red Sea” looks, Romans 8:37 (AMP) declares, “We are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us.” When impossible odds confront us, God stands ready with overwhelming victory—not by might or natural strength, but through Jesus Christ, who paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

OUR CONFIDENCE IN AN UNFAILING GOD

“In face of all this, what is there left to say? If God is for us, who can be against us? He that did not hesitate to spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all—can we not trust such a God to give us, with Him, everything else that we can need? [Romans 8:31-32 J.B. Phillips New Testament]. God gave His own Son for us; we can trust Him for every other need.

Challenges are real to life, but defeat is unscriptural for the believer. “Everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God].” (1 John 5:4 AMP).

No matter what barriers loom before you, the marching orders remain clear: ADVANCE—GO FORWARD! Your faith in God unleashes heaven’s resources to part every sea in front of you. Trust Him, obey His Word, and see His power at work. [To be continued next week].
