“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;).” – Hebrews 10:23 King James Version.

“We must continue to hold firmly to our declaration of faith. The one who made the promise is faithful.’ – Hebrews 10:23 God`s Word Translation.

HELLO, TREASURED FRIENDS, and WELCOME to this week`s ATM (A Teaching Moment) Weekly in the precious name of our Lord Jesus, the one who is the First and the Last, who was dead but is now alive. [Revelation 2:8 New Living Translation].

Thank you for your persistent hunger for God’s wisdom through these weekly teachings. Our message is not about ourselves; it is about Jesus Christ as Lord. “We are your servants for His sake” [2 Corinthians 4:5, GOD’S WORD Translation].

May, a month when Miracles Await You, has never been void of miraculous encounters through persistent faith in the Lord Jesus. Many, including we, have shared testimonies of experiencing God’s power in action. Truly, God has never left us without evidence of His presence and His goodness [Acts 14:17, NLT]. May (Miracles Await You) is not just a catch phrase—it’s a reality of God’s miraculous intervention!

A Miraculous Rescue: God’s Intervention in St. Louis

One of the powerful testaments to the miraculous occurred this same month of May in St. Louis, Missouri, on Friday, May 16th (9 days ago), when a devastating tornado took the lives of seven people and injured dozens. A remarkable and miraculous story of divine rescue came from a female college student, a rising senior at Jackson State University in Mississippi, who found herself caught in the storm.

As the tornado tore through the city, she was thrown from her car rear window, which had been battered by debris, breaking windows and opening the driver’s side door. Even though she was wearing a seat belt, she was ejected from the vehicle and “slid down the street 40 yards.” Despite being ejected from the vehicle, the young woman clung to life with persistent faith. “I just was praying and screaming, Jesus, Jesus,” she recalled, holding onto a light pole to triumph over the storm.

A Living Miracle: A True and Recent Story of Persistent Faith in the Lord Jesus

“For EVERYONE BORN of God is VICTORIOUS and OVERCOMES the world; and this is THE VICTORY that has conquered and overcome the world—our [CONTINUING, PERSISTENT] FAITH [in Jesus the Son of God].” – 1 John 5:4 Amplified Bible.

This same student, Mya Grimes, who overcame the tornado through her persistent faith in the Lord Jesus, was one of our keynote speakers last year June at the inaugural edition of the Blaze of Change Annual Global Youth Conference designed for youths ages 13-25, hosted virtually by the LAMP Global Community of which I am the Chief Visionary Officer collaborating with twenty-four dynamic leaders for global transformation.

Mya’s story is a living testimony to the miraculous working power of God, and her journey is a powerful reminder that God’s miracles are available to those who persist in faith in Him.

God Shows No Favoritism: The Call for Persistent Faith

“God shows no favoritism; in every nation, He accepts those who fear Him and do what is right” [Acts 10:34-35, NLT]. Persistent faith unlocks the miraculous, and Mya’s story is proof that no matter where we are or what we face, God is faithful to His Word. [2 Timothy 2:13 and Romans 3:3-4].

Beloved, let us continue to hold fast to the profession of our faith, unwavering, because “He is faithful that promised” [Hebrews 10:23, KJV].
