“The end of a thing is better than its beginning; The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.” – Ecclesiastes 7:8 New King James Version.
We’ve Come This Far By Faith!
It was a rough season—my financial mistake had backed my family into a corner regarding our current rented apartment with new ownership after the property was sold. In the natural world, all hope seemed lost. But then, at a men’s breakfast fellowship, the Spirit of God used a song to ignite my faith again:
“We’ve come this far by faith, leaning on the Lord…” – Donnie McClurkin.
We’ve come this far by faith, Leaning on the Lord, Trusting in His holy word, He never fails me yet, Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, No turning around, We’ve come this far by faith…….
That moment was a divine reminder: The same faith that brought us this far… would carry us through this present challenge!
From Test To Testimony
Charged with renewed confidence in God’s Word, we pressed forward. Soon after, we experienced divine favor with the new landlord, and God sustained us in that place for another seven months—a powerful reminder that faith still works!
Don’t Believe The Lie Of The Enemy—The Best Is Yet To Come!
Don’t let your current struggle define your destiny. Romans 12:2 New English Translation calls us to rise above the world’s discouragement by the renewing of our minds with God`s Word: “Do not be conformed to this present world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may test and approve what is the will of God—what is good and well-pleasing and perfect.” Refuse to accept defeat. Refuse to retreat. Refuse to conform.
No Turning Back—Stand Firm In Faith
Hebrews 10:35-39 NKJV says, Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: “For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.” We’re not of those who shrink back! We are believers—bold, steady, and enduring.
You Have A Right To Ever-Increasing Glory
Your identity in Christ gives you access to EVER-INCREASING GLORY. Don’t settle for survival when God has called you to a life of significance bought and guaranteed by the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ! So, let us: “Hold firmly to the profession of our faith without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” (Hebrews 10:23 Modern English Version).
The Month’s Not Over—And Neither Is God!
As we approach the end of this great month—and the first half of this great year—don’t fall for “The Good Old Days Syndrome.”
Ecclesiastes 7:10 (NIV) says: “Do not say, ‘Why were the old days better than these?’ It is not wise to ask such questions.”
Why? Because…
The End Is Always Loaded With Glory
God never closes a chapter without outdoing the previous one. The end of a thing is better than its beginning; the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. (Ecclesiastes 7:8 NKJV). Your best breakthrough is just ahead, not behind.
Don’t lose hope. Don’t cast away your confidence. Don’t stop believing. There’s still time. There’s still grace. And with God, there’s always more for EVER-INCREASING GLORY is His will for you, for He watches over His Word to perform it. (See Jeremiah 1:12).
