“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;).” – Hebrews 10:23 King James Version.
Here is the concluding part of this month`s teaching, and thank you for your commitment to seeking God`s wisdom via ATM (A Teaching Moment) Weekly. Our message is not about ourselves. It is about Jesus Christ as the Lord. We are your servants for His sake. (2 Corinthians 4:5 GOD`S WORD Translation).
A Mandate That Seemed Impossible
Years ago, during my medical school days, the Lord gave me a mandate to host a great woman of God known for transforming relationships—singles and married couples alike. The challenge? Hosting her in two different locations, something no student or fellowship had ever attempted!
Vision Shared, Faith Tested
As the leader, I cast the vision to my four team members and ministry friends. We began preparations, visiting the woman of God’s office in another city and printing a watch out flyer with all our ministry funds. Awareness grew, but so did the questions.
“What is our budget for this event?” someone asked.
The budget looked impossible. A team member even suggested reducing it to one location.
My response? “The mandate is for two locations, and we’re not backing down!”
Fueling Faith with Worship and the Word
Every morning, I strengthened my faith with:
The song “All Things Are Possible” by Darlene Zschech and a tape message by Dr. Mike Murdock, “31 Things About the Uncommon Dream”
Then came a turning point one morning through an encounter with God`s Word: “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised).” (Hebrews 10:23 KJV). The phrase “for He is faithful that promised” ignited my spirit. I chose to HOLD FAST TO MY PROFESSION OF FAITH!
A Bold Seed and a Faith Shift
Ten days before the event, God led me to sow a precious seed—my new reading lamp with a tape player, my prized possession to a great man of God, who is also my revered mentor. As I placed it on the altar at his event just before our own event, my faith skyrocketed to another level.
When Faith Holds, Provision Flows!
After that act of obedience, God began sending destiny helpers. Provisions flowed in, every need was met, and every bill was paid. The event was a supernatural success—souls were saved, lives transformed, and God’s Kingdom advanced.
Hold Fast to Your Profession of BETTER THINGS!
I share this testimony to encourage you to hold fast to your confession of faith! Your confession in the middle of confusion is a conclusion of your condition. Refuse to yield to doubt or unbelief, dare to believe God to make good His word and fulfill His promise concerning you.
No matter what the contrary circumstances, remember: “God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you can ask or think.” (Ephesians 3:20).
Beloved, God is confident of BETTER THINGS concerning you. Keep believing, keep declaring, keep standing—your miracle is on the way!
Love you all. Have a blessed week!
