Discipline Pays Great Dividends – Part 4

What could make someone be on her feet cooking for one hundred hours? What could make an individual defy nature and the need to get much-needed sleep like everybody else on planet Earth? The answer is DISCIPLINE and COMMITMENT! DISCIPLINE and COMMITMENT are the potential paths. I believe that someone else could have broken the 2019 record set by Indian chef Lata Tondon in any part of the world before now until Hilda Bassey took up the challenge of becoming a national and international sensation by embracing discipline and commitment.

I strongly believe everyone in the crowd that gathered to cheer Hilda Bassey can also reach their true potential in being distinguished in their area of passion or gifting even to a global scale but for lack of discipline and commitment, there is now a wide gap between them and the world record holding chef!

Hebrews 12:11 Expanded Bible, “We do not enjoy being disciplined. It is painful at the time, but later, after we have learned from [been trained by] it, we have peace [it produces/bears the fruit of peace], because we start living in the right way [or …and righteousness].” The truth is that no one enjoys discipline because it is always painful at the front end but afterward DISCIPLINE PAYS GREAT DIVIDENDS! Discipline only releases its reward for those who are in it to win it!

Author and Speaker, Albert E. Gray said, “The successful person has the habit of doing the things failures don’t like to do. They don’t like doing them either necessarily. But their disliking is subordinated to the strength of their purpose.” Our true Strength of Purpose is rooted in our HABITS and RITUALS [what we all do daily] because we are not always motivated or inspired all the time, it is our HABITS and RITUALS [DAILY DISCIPLINE and COMMITMENT] that carry us.
