“The RIGHTEOUS KEEP MOVING FORWARD, and those with clean hands become stronger and stronger.” – Job 17:9 New Living Translation.
“THE PATH of THE RIGHTEOUS is like the morning sun, SHINING EVER BRIGHTER till the full light of day.” – Proverbs 4:18 New International Version.
Like the fleeting dream of a night, January 2025 has come and gone. We stand at the threshold of a new month—not by our own strength, but by His boundless mercy. “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed because His compassions fail not.” (Lamentations 3:22 KJV). Though January had its share of challenges, it also brought forth powerful testimonies of God’s goodness, reminding us that He will never leave Himself without a witness. [see Acts 14:17].
MORE THAN CONQUERORS
Despite opposition, we are far from victims; in Christ, we stand as overwhelming victors. Romans 8:37 NLT proclaims, “No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.” The enemy aims to rob us of our God-given triumph, but we hold firm to our identity as more than conquerors in the Lord Jesus.
FEBRUARY 2025: ADVANCE [GO FORWARD]!
The prophetic charge for February 2025 is ADVANCE—GO FORWARD. God’s word to Moses rings true for us today:
“Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to GO FORWARD.” (Exodus 14:15 NKJV)
No matter the Red Sea is in front of you or the pursuing armies behind you, the only direction for the righteous is FORWARD. The Scripture reassures: “The righteous keep moving forward, and those with clean hands become stronger and stronger.” (Job 17:9 NLT).
CHALLENGES ARE REAL TO LIFE, BUT VICTORY IS THE BIRTHRIGHT OF THE REDEEMED!
In this world, trials are inevitable, yet triumph is our birthright in Christ. Psalm 34:19–20 (AMP) declares, “Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, but the Lord rescues him from them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.” Now is not the time to retreat or surrender to the enemy in defeat. Rather, as Ephesians 6:10–11, NLT exhorts:
“Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.”
ADVANCE INTO BETTER & GREATER THINGS
This February, we position our hearts to go forward into BETTER and GREATER things. God has prepared astonishing blessings for those who love Him. As 1 Corinthians 2:9–10 NKJV declares:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit.”
Throughout this month, we will explore how to lay hold of these promises and walk in the fullness God has already made available to us. Stay expectant because the best is yet to unfold. [To be continued next week].
