“I tell you that He will defend and avenge them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find [THIS KIND OF PERSISTENT] FAITH on the earth?” – Luke 18:8 Amplified Bible.

W.T. Purkiser, a Professor Emeritus of Religion at Point Loma College, San Diego said, “Faith is more than thinking that something is true. Faith is thinking something is true to the extent that we act on it.”
It is the FAITH that is backed up by a CORRESPONDING ACTION that guarantees a change of story as it is with David [the shepherd boy who later became king] when he killed Goliath, “David risked his life [He took his life in his hand] when he killed Goliath the Philistine [struck the Philistine], and the Lord won a great victory for all Israel…” [1 Samuel 19:5 Expanded Bible].
What about April 2023? By DIVINE INSPIRATION, APRIL 2023 is the month of HAVE FAITH IN GOD [PERSISTENT FAITH] and we will be exploring by the grace of God and the help of the Holy Spirit the expediency of HAVING FAITH IN GOD in the spirit of PERSISTENCY! The Lord Jesus in His earthly ministry shared two different parables on PERSISTENCY both in the gospel according to Saint Luke in the eleventh and eighteenth chapter. For the time that we have this week, we will quickly highlight the eleventh chapter parable on persistency.
Then He said to them, “Suppose one of you has a friend, and goes to him at midnight and says, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves [of bread]; for a friend of mine who is on a journey has just come to visit me, and I have nothing to serve him’; and from inside he answers, ‘Do not bother me; the door has already been shut and my children and I are in bed; I cannot get up and give you anything.’ I tell you, even though he will not get up and give him anything just because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence and boldness he will get up and give him whatever he needs. “So, I say to you, ask and keep on asking, and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking, and you will find; knock and keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking [persistently], receives; and he who keeps on seeking [persistently], finds; and to him who keeps on knocking [persistently], the door will be opened.” [Luke 11:5-10 Amplified Bible].
Author, Speaker, and founder of the Conservative Business Journal, John Di Lemme said, “The KEY of PERSISTENCE OPENS ALL DOORS CLOSED by RESISTANCE.” This is why the Lord Jesus strongly urge us to ask and keep on asking, and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking, and you will find; knock and keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who keeps on asking [PERSISTENTLY], receives; and he who keeps on seeking [PERSISTENTLY], finds; and to him who keeps on knocking [PERSISTENTLY], the door will be opened. [Luke 11:9-10 Amplified Bible].
