“If you can dream it, you can do it.” ― Walt Disney.

This week on A Teaching Monday (ATM), we delve into the Dream Factor, the essential starting point for living life to its fullest. Everything begins with a dream! A dream represents what could and should be, even if it hasn’t yet become a reality.

From Vision to Reality: My Dream of Global Transformation

Years ago, I envisioned a dream of global transformation. Today, I’m thrilled to say that I’m gradually realizing this dream through collaboration with over twenty remarkable leaders of the LAMP Global Community. Together, we’re making strides toward global change through virtual conferences, magazine publications, and numerous initiatives. We have hosted five global conferences, and testimonies of impact are already pouring in from around the world. The best is yet to come!

D – Dream Factor: The Foundation of Greatness

The journey to achieving greatness begins with a dream. But remember, a dream alone is not enough. It requires resilience, teamwork, accountability, and mentorship to transform that vision into reality.

Your dream is not just a whimsical thought; it is the blueprint for your journey. It is the guiding vision that navigates you through life’s challenges and triumphs. A dream worth pursuing is a predictor and blueprint of a person’s purpose and potential.

What is a Dream?

The billion-dollar question is, “What is a dream?” According to Sharon Hull, a dream is “the seed of possibility planted in the soul of a human being, which calls him to pursue a unique path to the realization of his purpose.”

The Power of a Dream

The phrase “seed of possibility” resonates deeply. Just as a seed needs nurturing to grow, a true dream, when planted in the soul, can lead to extraordinary transformations. Consider the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and how his dream culminated in the civil rights movement, forever altering the landscape of racial equality in the United States.

“I Have a Dream” – A Moment of History

Dr. King’s iconic speech, delivered during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom on August 28, 1963, is a powerful testament to the impact of dreams. With over 250,000 supporters in attendance, he called for civil and economic rights, emphasizing a vision that resonated deeply with countless lives. This speech stands as one of the most pivotal moments in American history.

The Cost of Abandoning Your Dream

When you leave your dream behind and fail to live it, you deny yourself the opportunity to live life big. You dim your world. Remember, living your dream is what brightens your universe!

My mentor, Dr. John Maxwell said, “A dream is an inspiring picture of the future that energizes your mind, will, and emotions, empowering you to do everything you can to achieve it.”

This powerful definition from my mentor, Dr. John Maxwell, emphasizes the necessity of finding your dream and living it. It’s the key to experiencing true fulfillment in life and living life big! Let’s not just dream—let’s live our dreams and live life big! [To be continued next week].
